pes and feel the enchantment of the wilderness for yourself. Sit at your private dining setting in the middle of the desert and dine in the serenity of the Outback under a million stars?
This tour departs early afternoon for the domes of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) - a very sacred place to the Aboriginal people. Your guide will walk you through Walpa Gorge describing the ancient geology and unique flora of this arid environment that have contributed to this National Parks' World Heritage Listing. Leaving the rocky moonscape of the place the Anangu people call Kata Tjuta (meaning 'Many Heads'), you return to Ayers Rock Resort approximately 1/2 hour before your pick up for the multi-award winning Sounds of Silence Dinner. Here you will dine under a million stars amongst the serenity of the outback desert.
Travel out to a private dining setting in the middle of the desert. Sip on a glass of champagne with the sound of a lone didgeridoo filling the air as the sun slowly sets over Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and Uluru (Ayers Rock). Dine on a gourmet BBQ of Australian delicacies and then sit back and take in the mystery of the desert at night, as an astronomer takes you on a tour of the clear southern night skies. Sounds of Silence is the winner of the 1997 and 1998 Australian Tourism Awards for Australia's best tourism restaurant.
Please Note: There are 24 and 48 hour Tour Passes available including other small group tours in the Ayers Rock, Kata Tjuta and Mount Conner region. These passes offer flexibility and great value.
