Come along on this interpretive van tour past Mount Robson, the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies, to where the dogs anxiously await your arrival. Then the fun begins as you are whisked away by the Alaskan Huskies on a forested trail following the Small River.
This tour is seasonal and only operates from December through to March.
The dog sled operation is approximately a 1 hour 15 minute van trip west of Jasper. Each sled will have 5 to 7 dogs, and depending on the size of the group, there will be 2 to 3 people per sled. The trail is well packed and follows the Small River up the valley with beautiful winter scenes of the river and limited ones of the mountains. With regular snow through the winter, the area is often the picture of "Winter Wonderland".
