You final destination for today's hike is the Habsburg Lookout. This is the highest point in Vienna and is located on the top of Hermannskogel 1,778 feet (542 meters) above sea level in the northwest of the city.
Your walk leads you through lovely beech and oak forests, and every now and again, offers a magnificent view of Vienna and its surrounding countryside.
During the walk there will an opportunity to stop for a lunch break (meal not included in tour price). End your walk in Grinzing at a typical Viennese Heurigen (wine tavern), an absolute must during a trip to Austria.
